Food Box: Go!

Eatery Review

Ellen showed me one of her favorite haunts in Mineola, a little rail-car come diner called Kiss The Chef. It is, hands down, the best diner food that can be had. It is run by veterans of the NYC catering scene. It has a distinct latin flair to some of the food, owing to their Guatemalan origins. If you order a grilled chicken sandwich at any other diner, thats what you get; plain grilled chicken on a standard hamburger bun. The same dish at Kiss The Chef is a much different affair. The chicken is seasoned, the bun is a big tasty roll, and the presentation is above par. The service is friendly, and the prices can't be beat.
