Printer surgery 101

I reconnected the tube in my printer. The real question is, is it worth the $13 for a new cyan ink cartridge to see if it will actually print anything usable. It was kind of scary, taking it apart and putting it back, considering I had to disconnect and reconnect some kind of ground wire. But Dave assures me I won't die if I use it. Of course, I already have a new printer that's much nicer than this one.
